Support Singing Out Las Cruces: Upgrade Media Gear

My name is Liz and I am the volunteer Media Manager for a local non-profit choir, Singing Out Las Cruces. I have been working for about 2 years now to help the choir modernize and progress their organization. Over the last two years, I have helped them increase their online engagements by over 60%. I designed the new logos for the choir and completely remade their website. I design and make all of their concert programs, tickets, flyers, social media posts, etc. Through fundraisers like Southern New Mexico Giving Day, I have helped the choir increase its revenues and I do all of this with just a cellphone, a ring light stand, and a $200 laptop.

I do all of this because I believe in Singing Out Las Cruces and what it does. I want to continue to help the choir fulfill their mission and vision. But there is a limit to what I can do without more advanced equipment. Two of the big goals I have for this next year with Singing Out is to be able to live stream concerts, and to film a documentary about the founding and history of New Mexico's first, and so far only, mixed voice LGBTQ+ choir.
