Support Silvia's Family, with a Chance to Rebuild Our Lives
Donation protected
My name is Silvia. I’m 51 years old, and after a lifetime of hard work, I find myself in a situation , I never imagined: struggling to keep my family afloat. I’ve always been independent , asking for help doesn’t come easily to me. But today, I am swallowing my pride because my mother, my sister, my niece, and even my little dogs need you . Because right now, We can’t do this alone.
Three years ago, my life changed overnight, I left my job of 18+ years, to care of my mother in El Salvador, who was diagnosed with diabetes, near total blindness, heart disease, and early stage Alzheimer’s. A very close relative, had agreed to support us, but two years later, that support vanished leaving me with no income, no savings, and no safety net.
Now, my 77 years old mother requires constant care. She can’t be left alone not even for an hour. My sister recently lost her job and moved in with us, along with my niece. We’re all doing our best, but without steady income, we’re drowning in medicines, basic expenses, and the crushing weight of uncertainty.
Our Plan to Survive and Thrive
My sister and I have a solution: a reliable vehicle to work as Uber drivers and delivery couriers. This would give us:
-Flexibility , to care for my mother and take my niece to school.
-Stable income, to cover her medicine, food, and basic needs.
-A way out, of this crisis, without relying on charity forever.
But we need help to start. $14,000 would allow us to:
- Buy a used car in good condition.
- Cover urgent medical expenses.
- Pay bills while we establish our new income stream.
- Rebuild the emergency fund we’ve exhausted (originally meant for hospital visits or, God forbid, a funeral).
I’m not just asking for money , I’m asking for a lifeline. A chance to work, to provide, and to give my mother the care she deserves in her final years. I suffer from chronic stress, anxiety, and depression, but I refuse to give up. Every day, I fight to keep hope alive.
If you can help in any way whether it’s financial support, job leads (remote work is ideal, since I can’t leave my mother), or even just sharing this message, I would be forever grateful. You’d be saving not just me, but my entire family.
From the bottom of my heart Thank You for reading, for caring, and for any help you can offer.
