This is Silas, born at 30 weeks gestation weighing 3.4Ibs. We are currently waiting for him to grow and leave the NICU. During this time, I am currently helping my family by helping manage Silas' other three siblings while his mother and I take turns seeing him and holding him. This means that I haven't been able to work much. I haven't been able to work my civilian job since late this past May because I was at Fort Johnson, Louisiana conducting my annual training with the Minnesota Army National Guard until late this past June. It was during this trip that I was first notified of my fiance being admitted into the hospital for signs of preterm labor, and it was nine days after I returned from training that Silas was born. We are just asking for some financial help with covering necessary expenses whether it's helping with our rent on our home or buying necessities like clothing and diapers.
