Support Sierra's Recovery and Ruthie's Care

Hi guys! My name is Mackenzie Trammell (Alvarez) & I am Sierras older sister & Ruthie Sky's auntie.

Sierra asked me not to do this, but as a big sister, anyway I can help, I will do so.

As we all know sweet Ruthie Sky had a pretty scary entrance into the world. Sierra had been having bad swelling and headaches for a few days & when she finally went to the ER they admitted her immediately & shortly after was diagnosed with preeclampsia which developed into HELLP syndrome. Her protein levels that were supposed to be no more than 300, ended up getting up over 20,000. This was terrifying for Ruthie's sake, but the doctors said this could be fatal to Sierra. They had no other option than to deliver Ruthie at 31 weeks via C-Section. She was immediately taken to NICU where she spent a total of 19 days. Upon Sierra's discharge, her & Trey (Ruthie's Dad & Sierra's fiancé) were lucky enough to get a hospitality suite at the hospital in Owensboro where Ruthie was. However, this was to be paid for out of pocket for each night stayed. Expenses of the suite, food, gas for Trey to get back & forth, then the typical bills of course don't stop. While still in the hospital, they asked for an extension on their electric bill which was "approved" but come to find out, they were shut off. They got exciting news of bringing Ruthie home, but once they got there, their electric was shut off & nobody had an explanation as to what happened with their approved extension under the circumstances they were facing. This cost extra to be turned back on. Sierra is still a long ways away from being off work due to her health & Ruthie is no where near out of the woods. Trey works day in and day out to provide for their family & neither him or Sierra are ever the ones to ask for help or a hand out.

Sierra has gone above and beyond to help those in community with her "Sierra's Saving Strays" mission & would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. Trey also has a heart of gold & helps anyone he can without a second of hesitation.

Without going into more detail, what should be an exciting, easygoing time, this is a very stressful and scary time for them...if you can find it in your heart to help this family with any expenses they're still currently paying for, and that are still occurring, we would be eternally grateful. If you can't make a monetary donation, a prayer would mean just as much.
