Shuter Library's Shelving Upgrade: Children and Young Adults
Tax deductible
Need an expensive shelving upgrade to restructure for our children and young adults. Please help our small little library!
Shuter Library is a 501(c)3 self-funded, fully-public library serving a diverse demographic in northern New Mexico from Cimarron through Moreno Valley to Mora. Shuter Library has programming for children from infancy to young adult and with programs for adults. We specialize in community needs that are not satisfied elsewhere. We are strong supporters of literacy and learning through reading. Our focus is on lifetime learning of skills beyond reading that include STEAM, deep learning, computing and internet proficiencies, and community connections through special interest programs.
Our growing collections are in Children's and Young Adult, and we are quite crippled by our current shelving. To better serve these patrons, we are raising $16,000 for the specialized shelving that can make the most of our limited space and provide streamlined access for our children and young adults. To date, we've raised $2,000.
