Hi all! As many of you know, I am currently in graduate school to become a nurse practitioner at Sacred Heart University. Every year, the college of nursing works in conjunction with Iglesias del Camino (church) in Antigua, Guatemala to send both undergraduate and graduate nursing students over on a mission trip to provide free healthcare for surrounding impoverished communities. I’m very excited to share that I have been chosen to go on this trip in March! I am therefore creating a GoFundMe page to collect donations so we could purchase materials that we need. The money will go towards medical supplies including gloves, masks, gauze, bandages, cleaning wipes, and glucometer test strips, as well as non-prescription medications and personal care items.
