All proceeds will go directly to the Shoals Summer League and Park Board as they move forward with this park improvement project.
Shoals is growing. Our youth baseball and softball programs are thriving, and more kids are stepping up to the plate each year. But we’re running out of space. That’s why we’re launching the Shoals Field of Dreams—a game-changing collaboration between the Shoals Park Board and the Shoals Summer League to build new official Little League ballfields and youth soccer fields right here in our hometown.
Why This Matters:
Growing Youth Sports: Our Summer League has expanded from 122 to 165 young athletes in just three years. More kids are playing, and we need more space to keep the momentum going.
New & Improved Park Amenities: This project goes beyond the ballfields—it’s about enhancing our entire community park.
A Lasting Investment in Shoals: This development will not only provide space for local teams but also attract visitors, strengthening our small-town economy.
More Than Just Baseball & Softball
While expanding our sports facilities is at the heart of this project, it also includes major upgrades to create a more welcoming and inclusive community space for all ages.
With your help, we will:
- Expand and Improve Parking – More space for players, families, and event attendees.
- Install Outdoor Fitness Equipment – A local student-led initiative is working to bring adult exercise stations to the park, encouraging wellness for all.
- Enhance Walking Paths & Green Spaces – Perfect for families, joggers, and those looking to enjoy the beauty of our park.
- Add a Lending Library & New Park Benches – Providing a space to relax, read, and connect.
- Build a Multi-Use Pavilion – Hosting farmers markets, community concerts, and events.
- Improve Overall Park Aesthetics – Thoughtfully placed landscaping, seating areas, and gathering spaces will make the park more inviting for everyone.
The Shoals Ballpark has always been a focal point of our community—from Saturday morning T-ball to the Catfish Festival Softball Tournament that brings in hundreds of visitors every summer. Now, we have the opportunity to make it even better.
We can’t do this alone. We need YOUR help. Whether it’s a donation, sponsorship, or simply spreading the word—every contribution matters.
