I'm writing this on behalf of Shira, someone who would never ask for help herself—but truly deserves it. She is strong, selfless, and full of love, but after an unimaginable loss, she deserves the chance to try again.

Shira was blessed with the most precious Solynei Rae, who was stillborn on 11-28-24. No words can describe the depth of her grief or the heartbreak of preparing for a life that ended before it could begin. She carried Solynei with such hope and love, and she mourns the loss of her daughter with quiet strength and grace.

She became pregnant through IVF, a process that is emotionally, physically, and financially demanding. Despite the heartbreak and devastating loss of sweet Solynei, she still dreams of having the opportunity to raise a child—and despite everything, she has the strength to try again.

But another round of IVF comes with a heavy cost, and insurance offers little to no help. That’s why I’m reaching out to our community of friends, family, and kind strangers: to ask for support in giving her another chance at the life she wants and deserves.
