My aunt Sherrie and my little cousins have lost everything in a devastating house fire.

We are also grieving the very recent loss of my Mom — Sherrie’s sister — which makes this all even more heartbreaking.

In a matter of moments, their home was gone. Everything they owned was taken from them, and heartbreakingly, they also lost their beloved pets. The weight of this loss is unimaginable, especially for the kids who are now trying to process so much pain while having to start over from nothing. She has no insurance on her home.

Sherrie is one of the most selfless people I know. She is always the one who shows up for others, who gives without hesitation, and who holds everyone together during their hardest moments. Now, she is the one who needs support.

Right now, they are trying to replace basic necessities like clothing and everyday essentials, while also facing the overwhelming reality of rebuilding the home they lost. More than anything, she wants to give her kids a place to feel safe again — a place to call home.

We are asking for any support you can give, no matter how small, to help them begin to rebuild their lives. Donations will go toward clothing, shoes, daily essentials, and helping Sherrie take the steps needed to rebuild her home.

• Teen clothing (small/medium)

• Shoes (size 8.5)
