Hello, my name is Kelsey Lozeau and I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of my mother in law Shelly White and her partner Warren.

Recently, they received the heartbreaking news that they completely lost their home in the Bald Range wildfire. Shelly is the owner of Big Top Equestrian Center and has been a pillar of the community for over two decades. She was caring for over 29 animals on her property, including a mare with a foal less than 24 hours old when the fire broke out.

Without hesitation, my family spent grueling hours working to load animals into trailers. When space ran out, they had no choice but to walk the remaining horses alongside their vehicles to guide them to safety and escape the approaching flames. Thanks to their incredible dedication, the animals survived, but Shelly and Warren have lost almost everything else.

We are raising funds to help them cover immediate emergency living costs, maintain care and feed for the rescued animals, and begin the long process of rebuilding their lives from scratch.
