At the end of July, Shelly suffered a devastating shoulder injury that required her to have surgery in mid-August. What was initially thought to be a straightforward surgery and recovery process, has turned into a much more serious and painful journey. Shelly is now battling a post-surgical infection that demands around-the-clock wound care and manual IV antibiotics. Her condition has left her unable to work for an extended period of time, and the timeline for her return remains uncertain.

Shelly has always been the kind of person who pours herself into others.
