What was initially thought to be a straightforward surgery and recovery process, has turned into a much more serious and painful journey. Shelly is now battling a post-surgical infection that demands around-the-clock wound care and manual IV antibiotics. Her condition has left her unable to work for an extended period of time, and the timeline for her return remains uncertain.
