Hi! My name is Shelley Perez-Rubio, and I’m a freshman at Laurel High School. This year is my third year in TeenSHARP, and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful to be part of such an amazing program. TeenSHARP is helping me prepare to attend one of the top colleges in the country, but it’s also doing so much more—it’s helping me grow into the best version of myself. Through TeenSHARP, I’ve been able to challenge myself, explore new ideas, and connect with a supportive community of students who are also striving for excellence. This year, I’m especially excited to be part of the Striver Program, where I’ll continue pushing myself academically while learning valuable leadership and life skills. I'm so thankful for everything TeenSHARP has given me so far—opportunities, encouragement, and a space to dream big. And I’m also incredibly thankful to you for taking the time to read my story and support my journey!
