Hey my name is Shay, I am making this go fund me for my amazing mother who is battling with cirrhosis of the liver at a young age of only 44 years old and as you probably know this has no cure but with this diagnosis comes many many doctors appointments, biopsies, MRIs,CT scans, apts for blood work, and hopefully one day a transplant to keep her here with us longer❤️ I am creating this go fund me to not only help with the medical bills already owed from these past 2 years of trying to figure out what the issue was and why she was/is in so much pain & discomfort but also all the medical bills to come.My mom will be having to quit her job as her liver worsens and my dad is a very hard worker and is prepared to take on all these bills & medical expenses alone but I wanted to atleast try to do something to make it a little bit easier on them❤️anything helps! and I want to thank you for taking the time out of your day to read my mothers story, she truly is the best mother & grandmothers out there❤️
-THE FULL STORY
This all started about 2-3 years ago my mom was getting kidney stones and was getting them removed .after they removed the kidney stones she stayed in pain and was visiting the hospital OFTEN trying to figure out what was wrong with her.after many hospital visits they told her she needed her gallbladder removed but after they removed it she was in more pain then before so she spent the next 2 years in and out of the hospital where she would even ask the questions “are you sure you took my gallbladder?” “Are you sure they did not miss a piece and accidentally leave some?” She was convinced they accidentally left something in her because she was in so much pain. They’d always give her ultrasounds and things and just send her home acting like she was crazy….finally now 2 years later and about 25 hospital trips later she got told she has cirrhosis of the liver….which was very heartbreaking and unexpected because my mom has NEVER been a drinker she does not drink so nobody ever thought it would’ve been her liver.her journey isn’t over,it’s just beginning and we WILL find a way!❤️
