Support Shay's Hand Surgery and Expenses

Story

Hello all. As many of you are aware, Shay took a little spill on her mountain bike on Thursday. She landed in the ER with a broken hand and now has to have surgery next week to fix it. While she does have health insurance, she has a high deductible (because she is super healthy) and it is going to drain her savings account for her surgery. She does not have disability insurance. When it rains, it pours… and she also has her $6000 business insurance policy renewal payment coming up this month that her savings were supposed to pay for, business rent she has to pay for, AND we are moving August 1st which she won’t be much help with. So I created this GoFundMe to try to help her out of a serious bind. I’m contributing what I can. Neither of us are the kind of people who like to ask for help… but unfortunately, this is the spot we have found ourselves in. Anything helps. She should be back working full capacity after ~8 weeks. Until then, she will only be able to do very light physical therapy on her patients. Thank you in advance for anything you contribute.
