Support Shayla, Dominic and Baby Savannah!

Hello everyone,

today I am here to ask for support on behalf of Dominic and Shayla as they are going through something no parent should have to go through. Their sweet baby girl Savannah was admitted to UCSF on Friday December 20th after being medi-flighted from Lodi Memorial and has been there ever since in the PICU. Savannah was born with a condition called Sturge Weber Syndrome which is a rare congenital neurological and skin disorder. Unfortunately at birth the doctors were not concerned of the effect of her condition however at just 5 months old she is now suffering the consequences of her diagnosis. She has been having seizures multiple times a day and is so strong in this fight she is battling. Her poor mommy and daddy are doing their absolute best to keep it together and stay by her side through all of this with that being said they definitely need some help here as they are young and have been trying very hard to get their lives started and take care of their sweet blessing. They are currently going to be in the hospital with no certain date of discharge as the doctors are trying to figure out the best course of action to treat Savannah's condition. As of right now Dominic being the sole provider has been by Savannah and Shayla’s side from the minute he was able to get to them. They need our help with expenses for food, gas, unforeseen medical bills and what ever else they are not currently able to cover at the moment.

I and Dominic’s mother will be keeping this page updated as much as possible on Savannah's condition and her progress as well.
