Our 1975 Willowbrook HS Hall of Fame, Tribune Trophy State Champion Football team had our 48-year football reunion during the Hall of Fame weekend, and our brotherhood, family, and team bond remains unbroken. It was amazing how the friendships formed in HS remained strong and have grown to a deeper appreciation and love for those we met long ago. We are looking to have our 50 year class of 1976 Reunion during September or October of 2026.

Shawna McDonough '76 has been providing us with 50-year reunion information on Facebook. Kathy O'Hanlon and Jim Voll have volunteered to help her get the 50 year Reunion set up for Homecoming Weekend in Sept/Oct 2026. As Shawna has helped many of our local friends and teammates over the years, I believe that we should and can assist her to prepare for and provide us with a great and memorable 50 year reunion, as well as allowing her to continue to provide counsel, assistance, relief, flowers, cards, etc. to some of our local classmates and teammates in need of temporary assistance and sometimes just a showing of friendship. (This is the initial reason this GOFUNDME was set up).

Bottom line is, all of the donations to this GOFUNDME will continue to be used to help members of our class and team, as well as allowing Shawna/Kathy/Jim to prepare and provide for a memorable 50 year Reunion.

Shawna will manage the donations and provide receipts on request. She'll be able to use the cash to locate as many classmates and teammates as possible, prepare some nice reunion props, picture boards, and keepsakes, secure a modest venue, provide some food and beer, and set up many other things to ultimately have a nice reunion, a reunion that may be the last for some of us!
