We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share the challenging journey our beloved Sharon is currently facing. Recently, she suffered a stroke due to a blood clot. This devastating event has led to partial paralysis on her right side, affecting her arm and leg, and has brought about extreme fatigue.

Sharon is now facing a long road to recovery, requiring intense physical therapy at a rehabilitation facility for an undetermined period. She has already spent several days in the ICU and on the Cardiac floor at Jewish Hospital. While the doctors are encouraged by her fighting spirit and believe she is an excellent candidate for acute intensive rehab, we understand that this process will be slow and will unfold over many months.

Once she is discharged, she will need ongoing rehabilitation and significant assistance in her daily life. Compounding this difficult situation, Sharon risks losing her health insurance and is currently unable to work, leaving her without any source of income.

To support her through this critical time, we are launching a fundraising effort to cover her essential needs:

1. Medical Expenses: This includes hospital stays, doctor visits, rehabilitation, and any necessary medications.

2. Living Expenses: With her loss of income, she is struggling to cover essential day-to-day expenses, such as rent, utilities, and groceries.
