Support Shannon Gehring’s Brave Battle Against Cancer

Shannon is the daughter of myself and the late Lieutenant Chip McCarthy

Shannon was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer in July at just 36 years of age. Shannon is an amazing young woman, mother of 2 young girls, wife to Zach, daughter ,sister ,aunt and friend to many. She has faced her diagnosis and grueling treatment with incredible bravery and grace. If you know Shannon you know she is the very first to offer help to anyone that needs it, but accepting help isn’t easy for her and Zach. The challenges of cancer treatment , combined with the demands of motherhood can be overwhelming and the financial burdens associated with medical bills, treatments and not being able to work are mounting. We want to ensure that Shannon , Zach and their girls can focus on what really matters: Shannon’s health and spending time together as a family as she fights this battle .

We are asking for any help during this time no matter the size, we just want to help alleviate the stress during this trying time and show Shannon the love and support she has behind her.
