devastated by Hurricane Melissa. This storm did not just pass through it tore through lives,

homes, and hope. My dad and many families in our community are now facing severe

hardship, with homes destroyed, roofs torn off, and access to basic necessities disappearing

Seeing the images and hearing my father’s voice shake as he describes the loss has been

one of the most painful moments of my life. No family should ever have to choose between
