This is for our family and close friends. Please don’t share this on any socials. I am trying to keep this as low-key as possible and away from our son, Shane. As you all know, I spent 3 years raising Shane alone. My son is the greatest thing that has been given to me. He unfortunately came from a very painful relationship. At 3, we met Joshua, who stepped up from day one to give Shane a healthy father figure. Shane asked to call him Daddy. At Shane’s current age, he doesn’t know anyone other than Joshua. He doesn’t remember a before time. The only question he has is why he’s not a “Denney.”

We have been attempting an adoption since we got married. We’ve spoken with a lawyer, and it is looking to be about 5 grand. We don’t like asking for help, but at this point, his biological father is threatening to go for visitation if we don’t get the ball rolling on the adoption soon. Not because he actually wants to be a dad, but out of spite. I can only imagine the emotional and mental damage this would cause our son. Yes, he is in a position that he could very easily have his visitation granted. So, unfortunately, here we are. We love you all & are hoping to have our son be Shane Denney soon!!
