Hello Everyone. On Saturday, May 9th Shane home to his house on fire. He broke a window to try and save his pets but was only able to save himself and his daughter’s cat. His emotional support dogs, cat and goats all perished. Shane was evaluated today at the VA and thankfully does not suffer from smoke inhalation or any skin injuries. Shane is a disabled veteran and now displaced. His home is beyond repair. To make his situation worse, he does not have homeowners’ insurance, only mortgage insurance. The VA was able to fill some of his meds today and the rest will be mailed and he contacted social work through the VA to see what resources they have for disabled veterans. To add to all of this, his truck needs repairs making it difficult for him to get to his appointments. All proceeds will go directly to Shane to help restart his life.
