Hi! My name is Shalom Abi, and I am a senior at the University of Southern California. This upcoming Spring Break (March 14–22, 2026), I'm excited to share that I will be traveling on a mission trip to India and Nepal to serve and support DMD (Disciples Making Disciples) International, a non-profit organization focused on making disciples and spreading the Gospel in South Asia.
Alongside my roommates, I will visit multiple villages and partner with local church networks to assist with youth programs, community outreach, and discipleship efforts. We’ll have the opportunity to encourage believers, build relationships with local families, and support leaders who are faithfully serving in some of the world’s least reached areas.
South Asia is home to over 25% of the world’s population, and many regions we’ll visit are places where less than 0.1% know Jesus. That means for every 1,000 people, 999 may never hear the Gospel unless someone goes. This trip is a chance to help change that.
I’m deeply grateful for any way you choose to partner with me on this journey, whether that’s through giving, praying, or simply sharing this story. Thank you for your generosity, encouragement, and faith in what God can do through this trip.
