Dear Friends & Fellow LEOs,
As most have heard by now, a fellow law enforcement brother was involved in a serious incident on Sunday, January 25th, 2026! Our friend, PSCP Sgt. Josh Crayne, was out doing what he loves doing most, helping others. He was out in treacherous conditions and frigid temperatures assisting a motorist who went off the roadway of 49 when another motorist lost control of their vehicle due to poor road conditions. Josh was blind sided and struck from behind by this out of control vehicle. He was thrown several feet away into the snow. Courageously and while severely injured, he was able to radio for help. He was tended to by his fellow officers & fire/ems before being transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital trauma center for further care.
Josh has several injuries including a broken pelvis among other things which will take many trips to South Bend Memorial & physical therapy. Though it was a work related injury, many unknown and unpredictable experiences will arise as he and his wife, Jen venture through this trying time of Josh’s recovery.
With respect to Josh, his wife Jen and his LEO family, we ask that you consider donating to him to help offset his losses.
Thank You and Stay Safe!!
