Hi, I’m Michael A. Cohen, Family Nurse Practitioner who works in Marin and City and County of San Francisco and I’m raising funds to support the incredible work of the SF-Marin Food Bank during the increased demand due to reduction in SNAP benefits. This cause has a special place in my heart as my Grandfather was one of the founding members of the Food Bank in Charleston, South Carolina. His goal was to offer a hand up and should no one ever go hungry!
With a mission to end hunger in our communities, they ensure that everyone has access to nutritious food. Even before the pandemic, one in five neighbors faced food insecurity, and together, we can help change that.
Your donations will enable the Food Bank to continue its vital services and create lasting solutions for those in need. Here’s how your support can make a difference:
- Provide nutritious groceries through neighborhood food pantries and home-delivered programs.
- Support CalFresh enrollment and policy advocacy efforts to address the root causes of hunger.
Join me in this collective effort to uplift our community and help ensure no one goes hungry. Every dollar counts, and together, we can make a significant impact!
