((UPDATE: The charge of resisting arrest have officially been DISMISSED! WOOHOO!! This is the first step toward accountability in our case!))
A quick update on our fundraiser: Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who has supported us, we should hopefully have enough donations for a decent lawsuit.. We are beyond grateful for every single person who has donated, shared our story, or reached out with encouragement. Your kindness has meant more than we can ever express.
We are going to leave the fundraiser open for the ones who would still like to leave a voluntary tip of appreciation for us both standing up and fighting for ALL our constitutional rights. If you don’t exercise your rights they become weak- and disappear entirely.
As for everyone else, consider this fundraiser a SUCCESS!
There is absolutely no expectation to donate whatsoever, we have been blessed beyond measure—your support, shares, and encouragement have already helped us more than you will ever know.
Fundraiser story:
I was recently unlawfully arrested by the Lakeland Police Department, facing charges of "resisting arrest without violence" for lawfully refusing to ID under the Florida law 901.151. The interaction escalated into several civil rights violations against both me and my wife.
The clear misconduct and absurdity of the situation quickly went viral online, “Here’s the Deal” YouTube channel advised us to start a gofundme. And as the donations came in, we began to realize that what once felt impossible might actually be within reach. Your generosity gave our family the financial leverage we needed to fight against this injustice.

The story of us:
We are 26, were best friends in high school, now married 4 years. We started traveling in 2020 when we bought our first van and converted it. After lots of self discoveries, we decided farming and growing food is our main shared passion..as well as fossil hunting, nutrition, metal detecting, nursery consulting, edible landscaping, antiquing, metal refining, evangelizing, and our main overall goal: planting 1 million trees, each.
We have since converted several other vehicles, traveling the states and even out of the country working on other farms. Collecting hands-on experience and knowledge, with the hopes to someday buy our own land, farm the land using our favorite method (syntropic agroforestry) and eventually become self sufficient, to find peace and freedom in this life.
If you know us, you know that we are not driven by the material things of this world, but by a pure passion- that runs deep in our veins, to seek all that is good and never give up.
We are currently still seeking representation for a civil suit for our clear civil rights violations. Now that the criminal charge of “resisting arrest without violence” have been dismissed, we can begin pursuing the next steps towards accountability.
If you or someone you know may be interested in representing our case, please don't hesitate to contact us.
