Help Support Serenity And Mom

Hello! My name is Sonya and I am the mother of my beautiful daughter, Serenity. My daughter was born with a congenital disability called Arthrogryposis, also known as AMC. It is a condition that causes contractures of her muscles and joints. She also had surgery for a tracheostomy and g-tube. She has respiratory failure, a swallowing disorder, vocal cord paralysis and a number of other conditions. We don’t know the severity of her mental state . We would have to wait until she’s older to know.  She isn’t able to breathe on her own without a ventilator, talk or eat on her own. She has been transported to ER numerous times for respiratory failure. She will also need multiple surgeries in the future. We would have to move in order to bring Serenity home. That is my goal. I started this GoFundMe for things like gas money, car maintenance, food, rent, and clothes for Serenity. All of these events are causing our family a lot of stress. I also struggle with my mental health. I am a first time mom and not knowing that my daughter was going to be born this way was truly heartbreaking. I promised her I would do anything for her.
