About Serene Efficiency, LLC

I have spent the past year building Serene Efficiency, LLC with my own funds. I have invested in forming the business, developing the workshops and educational materials, creating resources, building the brand, purchasing workshop props, and laying the foundation for something I genuinely believe can make a difference.

Now I have reached the next challenge:

Getting Serene Efficiency in front of the people who need to know it exists.

Serene Efficiency provides trauma-informed, brain-based workplace education designed to help employers, leaders, and employees better understand mental health, stress, burnout, trauma, addiction, domestic violence, communication, psychological safety, accountability, and the real-life circumstances people may be carrying with them into the workplace.

After approximately 15 years working in corporate finance and leadership, I experienced firsthand how quickly a capable employee can be misunderstood when trauma, grief, mental health challenges, or major life circumstances begin affecting concentration, communication, reactions, and job performance.

That experience became part of the reason I built Serene Efficiency.

A struggling employee is not automatically a bad employee. Sometimes an incredible employee needs better communication, clearer expectations, appropriate support, or simply a leader who understands that there may be more happening beneath the surface.

Serene Efficiency is designed to help create that understanding without removing accountability from the workplace.

How This Became a GoFundMe

When I originally decided to try crowdfunding for Serene Efficiency, my intention was to create a Kickstarter-style campaign to help fund the next stage of the business after putting so much of my own personal money into getting it started.

However, when I created the campaign online, it became a GoFundMe instead. Although that was not what I originally set out to create, I decided to continue with it and be completely transparent about what I am trying to accomplish and why I am asking for help.

At this point, one of the biggest things holding Serene Efficiency back is not developing the workshops or determining what I want the business to become.

It is getting in front of the right people.

Why Conferences and Expos Matter

Serene Efficiency is a unique business, so face-to-face conversations are especially important. This is not necessarily a service someone completely understands from seeing a logo, business card, social media post, or traditional advertisement.

I need opportunities to speak directly with business owners, HR professionals, supervisors, managers, safety professionals, and other leaders. I need to explain what the workshops are, why they are different, how they can be customized, and how this education can help employers support struggling employees while still maintaining accountability, productivity, safety, and workplace expectations.

At the right HR conference, leadership event, construction conference, mental health symposium, or business expo, dozens or even hundreds of the people I need to reach are already in one place.

An exhibitor booth would allow attendees to approach Serene Efficiency, review sample materials, ask questions, participate in demonstrations, and understand what the workshops actually provide.

A single event could create conversations, referrals, introductions, partnerships, sponsorships, and workshop opportunities that might otherwise take months of individual outreach to develop.

Why the Plan Has Changed

When I first began researching these opportunities, I hoped Serene Efficiency could begin exhibiting at conferences and expos before the end of 2026.

However, I have realized that paying for a booth is only one part of being properly prepared.

To represent Serene Efficiency professionally, I also need time and funding to create a complete booth display, finalize and professionally print educational materials, prepare sample workbooks, develop interactive demonstrations, organize sponsor recognition, complete the website, create follow-up materials, and plan for travel and other event expenses.

I do not want to rush into an event simply to say Serene Efficiency had a booth there. I want the booth to clearly explain the mission, attract the right people, provide useful information, and give Serene Efficiency the strongest possible opportunity to build lasting relationships.

Trying to accomplish all of that before the end of 2026 would not allow enough preparation time or make the best use of the funding I receive.

For that reason, I am now using the remainder of 2026 as a sponsorship and preparation period, with the goal of beginning conference and expo participation in 2027.

This is not a pause in the work. It is a more realistic and responsible plan for doing it correctly.

The 2026 Sponsorship and Preparation Plan

Throughout the remainder of 2026, I will focus on:

- Identifying businesses and organizations that may be interested in sponsoring Serene Efficiency
- Creating and distributing customized sponsorship packets
- Meeting with potential sponsors and community partners
- Attending selected local events as an attendee when financially possible
- Networking with HR professionals, supervisors, business owners, and other leaders
- Researching exhibitor requirements, application deadlines, booth costs, and speaking opportunities for 2027
- Finalizing the two-hour, four-hour, and leadership workshop programs
- Completing participant workbooks, activities, quizzes, surveys, and facilitator resources
- Conducting pilot or reduced-cost workshops to gather feedback, testimonials, and measurable results
- Completing the business website and improving marketing materials
- Developing a professional booth and organizing the materials needed to represent Serene Efficiency effectively

A complete booth may require branded table coverings, professional signage, display stands, printed educational materials, sample workbooks, workshop props, QR codes, informational handouts, sponsor recognition, interactive activities, and the equipment needed to display workshop content.

Building these materials during 2026 means they can be reused throughout multiple 2027 events instead of being created hurriedly for one conference.

Potential 2027 Events

The final event schedule will depend on sponsorship funding, exhibitor availability, travel costs, application deadlines, and which opportunities provide the best fit.

Events currently being researched and considered include:

- Midwest Construction Safety Conference & Expo — March 4–5, 2027 — Independence, Missouri
- Arkansas SHRM Employment Law & Legislative Affairs Conference — April 8–9, 2027 — Little Rock, Arkansas
- Missouri Employment, Training, Benefits & Wellness Conference — May 5–6, 2027 — Camdenton, Missouri
- SHRM Annual Conference & Expo — June 27–30, 2027 — Chicago, Illinois
- NAADAC Annual Conference — August 14–16, 2027 — Washington, D.C.
- AGC Construction HR & Workforce Conference — October 13–15, 2027 — St. Louis, Missouri
- Northwest Arkansas Supervisors Conference — Rogers, Arkansas
- Arkansas SHRM HR Conference & Expo — Hot Springs, Arkansas
- SHRM-KC Annual Conference & Expo — Kansas City, Missouri
- SHRM Oklahoma Annual State Conference — Tulsa, Oklahoma
- Missouri SHRM State Conference — Osage Beach, Missouri
- Zarrow Mental Health Symposium — Tulsa, Oklahoma
- Northwest Arkansas Technology Summit — Northwest Arkansas
- Arkansas Behavioral Health Institute — Hot Springs, Arkansas

This list represents potential opportunities, not a promise that Serene Efficiency will attend every event. The final schedule will be selected carefully based on relevance, cost, available sponsorships, and the audiences Serene Efficiency most needs to reach.

Regional events in Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma will likely be the first priority. Larger national events will be considered when sufficient sponsorship funding makes attendance realistic.

What Donations and Sponsorships Will Help Fund

Money raised through this GoFundMe will help fund:

- Professional booth displays and signage
- Branded table coverings and display materials
- Printed educational and promotional materials
- Sample participant workbooks and workshop resources
- Sponsorship packet printing and postage
- Exhibitor booths and vendor tables
- Event and conference registration fees
- Workshop demonstrations and booth activities
- Business website and marketing development
- Travel and lodging when an important opportunity is outside Northwest Arkansas
- Other preparation costs directly connected to reaching employers, leaders, and community organizations

Here is examples of what Serene Efficiency’s booth will look like depending on funds (costs not including tickets for booth):

Approx 2.5k:

But we could also setup without all the extras for about 1k, estimated.

This is not about asking others to fund something I am unwilling to invest in myself.

I have already invested as much of my own money as I realistically can, and I will continue paying for the opportunities and materials I can reasonably afford. I am also continuing to work full-time while building Serene Efficiency.

Several smaller donations together can turn an opportunity that is financially out of reach into one where Serene Efficiency has a seat—or a table—in the room.

Businesses interested in providing a formal sponsorship can also contact Serene Efficiency directly. Sponsorship recognition may include the business’s name or logo on event signage, printed materials, the Serene Efficiency website, or other promotional materials, depending on the level and type of support.

The Bigger Vision

While businesses, leaders, and employees are the immediate focus, the long-term vision for Serene Efficiency goes much further.

My goal is eventually to bring this education and awareness into rehabilitation centers, schools, and community organizations as well.

I want more people to have access to education surrounding mental health, trauma, addiction, domestic violence, stress responses, communication, and how our experiences can affect our brains, behavior, relationships, education, and ability to function.

Ultimately, I want Serene Efficiency to become financially strong enough to provide workshops and educational programs at no cost to organizations that need this education but do not have the resources to pay for it.

Before I can sustainably provide that education for free, I first have to build a business capable of supporting it. For now, that means focusing on businesses, leaders, and employees—building relationships, securing paid workshops, establishing credibility, and creating the financial foundation that can eventually support the larger mission.

I believe accountability and compassion can exist together.

I believe workplaces can support employees without lowering expectations.

And I believe education can change how we respond to people who are struggling with circumstances we may not completely understand.

I have invested the money.
I have developed the materials.
I have built the workshops.
I am continuing to show up for every opportunity I can personally afford.

The remainder of 2026 will be spent gaining sponsors and preparing Serene Efficiency to enter 2027 with a professional booth, strong materials, and a clear plan.

Now I need help getting Serene Efficiency into the room.

If you can donate, thank you. Truly, anything helps.

If you cannot donate, sharing this fundraiser can be just as meaningful. A single share could put Serene Efficiency in front of a business owner, HR professional, event organizer, community leader, educator, rehabilitation professional, or potential sponsor who believes in this mission.

Every sponsor. Every booth. Every table. Every introduction. Every conversation.

Each one gets Serene Efficiency one step closer to the people who need it.

Thank you for believing in what I am building and continuing to support the vision.
