Support Our Family Move for Cat's Transition

Hi, I'm Serah! I'm a trans woman with a non-binary spouse and an amazing trans son, Cat. He's going on 16 and has asked to start HRT (hormone replacement therapy) to ease his dysphoria from the wrong puberty and become more himself. Right now, he's living with his biological mom in Florida. She supports his transition, but the state of Florida infamously does not.

I told my son years ago that if he ever wanted hormone therapy for his transition, I'd make sure he got it, even if it meant moving to another state. It's time to keep my promise. Colorado is a strong trans sanctuary state that protects both adults and minors within its borders. With full family support, Cat, my spouse Sadi, and I are moving to Denver in July. This will give him time to acclimate and start treatment before school starts there in mid-August.

Any funds raised beyond these costs will be split between transition health care and paying forward to other fundraisers to help trans youth in circumstances like ours. This is the first time I've ever asked for donations for a personal cause, and if it works out, I think it's important to share our good luck.
