I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, and it’s with a lot of grief that I’m even starting this page.

I’m creating this GoFundMe for my nephews, Sebastian (16) and Roman (15). They recently lost their mom, Karla, and it’s been an incredibly painful time for them.

The boys will now be living with their dad, Luis, here in San Diego as they try to adjust to a new normal. This fundraiser is meant to help support them with whatever they may need moving forward; school expenses, sports and activities, clothes, transportation, and the everyday costs that come with growing up.

More than anything, I want to make sure Sebastian and Roman can keep being kids, stay active, and have opportunities without financial stress added on top of everything they’re already carrying. They’ve shown so much strength through something no kid should have to go through.
