OUR HISTORY

Undaunted Women is a female-founded 501(c)(3) organization. In 2020, a group of compassionate women witnessed the struggles faced by their newly arrived Afghan neighbors and felt compelled to take action. Thus, Undaunted Women was born—a Seattle-based 501(c)(3) organization driven by a deep sense of empathy and a strong desire to uplift refugee women and families. Their mission would become even more crucial just a year later when Afghanistan faced a heartbreaking crisis. Undaunted Women is a 100% volunteer-run, and we believe in supporting our refugee sisters with low-barrier access to basic donations, connection to inclusive resources, English language support, and friendship. In 3 years, our grassroot movement has grown and now we have a volunteer staff of over 70 with 5 different teams offering services across King and Pierce counties, as well as online.
