I am writing on behalf of a family affected by a devastating fire that occurred in Seaside in the early morning hours of today at approximately 3:30AM. The fire resulted in a total loss of their home and personal belongings. Tragically, they did not have renters insurance and have lost everything, including their vehicle.
At this time, they are in urgent need of assistance with temporary housing, essential necessities such as clothing and personal items, and financial support to secure reliable transportation. One of the immediate concerns is ensuring they are able to return to work at the local hospital, as they are dedicated members of our community who serve others every day.
We are asking for any support you can provide—no donation is too small. Your generosity will directly help them begin to rebuild their lives during this incredibly difficult time. The donations collected by me as I am assisting Mary, her husband Jeffery and son James will be given directly to them so they can use the funds for housing an any other needs. At this time Due to the loss of everything it has made things difficult with no id's or access to accounts to set up . I am a local first Responder who met the family while on scene an have been assisting since the day of incident navigate rebuilding from the fire .
We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the local firefighters, Fire Marshals, EMS personnel, and the American Red Cross for their swift response, professionalism, and continued support to those impacted.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and willingness to help a family in need.
