Support Scooter's Journey to a New Heart

Scott “Scooter” Daughenbaugh is a beacon in the Centralia community.

Recently, Scooter was hospitalized with heart complications and awaiting a heart transplant at St. Luke’s in Kansas City. They are taking excellent care of him, however, at this time, they are unsure when a heart will become available so he is out of work completely.

While he is always so willing to help others, he rarely asks for help himself. All proceeds of this fundraiser would provide assistance to him for medical and life expenses.

If you’ve ever stopped into DC’s, you know Scooter’s infectious smile and laugh, often hidden behind his long gray beard. He has never met a stranger and would give the shirt off his back if it meant that they didn’t have to go without. Show the small town support that he consistently provides to others, and please consider donating whatever you can.
