Scooter is our 5 year old mini dachshund, unfortunately he has been admitted to the hospital due to him getting into a bottle of ibuprofen while my husband and I were at work. Ibuprofen is very toxic to dogs (we had no idea)- even though the bottle was locked he still managed to get into it. The vets are monitoring his kidneys and his levels at this point hoping he can continue to get better. We are not sure how long he will be admitted for but those nights are very expensive and we would heavily appreciate any help anyone is willing to provide at this time.
