Schlockbuster’s “Feeding Our Neighbors” Thanksgiving Fundraiser
At Schlockbuster, we believe no one in our community should go hungry — especially during the holidays. This Thanksgiving season, we’re raising funds to support food banks and pantries across Huntsville and North Alabama through our Feeding Our Neighbors campaign.
Why this matters
- Nearly 187,000 people in North Alabama face food insecurity — including more than 44,000 children who may not always know where their next meal is coming from.
- That means nearly 1 in 4 children in our region live in food-insecure households.
- The Food Bank of North Alabama estimates that every $1 donated provides about 5 meals, helping stretch limited resources even further for families in need.
How your Thanksgiving donation helps
- Your gift can help ensure families across North Alabama have a warm, nourishing meal to share this holiday season.
- $20 can provide nearly 100 meals — enough to fill several Thanksgiving tables with turkey, vegetables, and the sides we all love.
