Have you ever wanted to feel special, loved, or important? Hi, my name is Savannah Carr, and I'd like to tell you a little about who I am. First of all, you should know that I am a Special Olympics athlete, and I love it. I have participated in Special Olympics for almost 20 years doing different sports, cheer, and dance! I was also chosen to be an athlete leader, which means I get to speak out in public more about those with disabilities in the special needs community.
In March, I participated in the Miss Amazing Pageant and I won my division, Miss Amazing Sr. Miss! I had a lot of fun, made new friends, and was able to show off my talents. It really made me feel confident and special and was such a great experience and it continues with me competing in Nationals in Chicago!
I am so excited for this experience because I think it gives me the opportunity to be more visible and share how much people with disabilities are capable of, to get more people involved with the special needs community and show everyone that there is more to us than just what they see.
Now I am off to Chicago to compete in the National Pageant in July and I am asking for your help and support with donating to help me to get there!
