Help Support Saša’s Recovery

On Thursday night, Saša’s life changed forever. While riding his scooter home, he was struck by a car in a hit-and-run accident. The driver never stopped.

Saša is now in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, fighting through unimaginable challenges. He has suffered severe injuries, including lacerations to his liver and body, and has undergone multiple surgeries. Doctors are working tirelessly to save his left foot after crushed arteries cut off circulation. He remains intubated and is expected to need extensive medical treatment, including skin grafts, plastic surgery, and a long rehabilitation process.

I am creating this fundraiser for my dear kuma and her son, Saša. She has been by his side day and night, and the family is facing overwhelming emotional and financial burdens.
