Support Our Mom in Her Cancer Battle

Hello all, my name is Sara.

My mom is the strongest woman I know. At just 51 years old, she has already overcome one battle with micropapillary pattern adenocarcinoma. Now, we are devastated to learn that it has returned.

Just last week, her treatments at Memorial Sloan Kettering cost over $2,000. That’s only the beginning. The financial toll of this fight is rising fast, and we are doing everything we can to keep up while focusing on her care.

But my mom is so much more than her diagnosis. She is a loving wife, a mother of five children, and a proud grandmother to six beautiful grandchildren. She is the heart of our home and the glue that holds our family together.

After major surgery to remove part of her left lung, she is now facing a second, life-threatening battle. Her diagnosis is adenocarcinoma with aggressive features, and early testing shows that standard treatments, including targeted therapies and immunotherapies, may not be effective.
