Hello, my name is Sarai, and I’m reaching out with hope and desperation. For years, I’ve been on a long journey toward obtaining my green card so I can build a life with my family here in the United States. Now, I’m at a crucial turning point. On May 27th, I have a court date that will decide my future—if I cannot pay for legal representation, I could be deported back to Mexico, away from my husband and children.
