Help Sarah Fight for Justice!

I am creating this fundraiser to support my dear friend and colleague, Sarah, who is currently being detained in Washington, D.C. facing charges for something she did not commit.

Sarah is a hardworking, energetic, inquisitive, and loving person who has dedicated herself to helping others. She works as a medical assistant and is also pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse. Anyone who knows Sarah can vouch for how selfless and determined she is.

Unfortunately, because she is being held, she has no income and cannot afford the legal representation she desperately needs. Her current public defender has not been attentive to her case, leaving her vulnerable in a situation that could unfairly take away her career aspirations and future.

We are raising funds to cover attorney fees so that Sarah can have a fair chance to prove her innocence. With the right legal help, she can continue on her path of making a difference in people’s lives through healthcare.
