Support Sarah and Story in a Time of Need

Hello! We are raising funds for our chosen family and Vox Feminista sister, Sarah Elizabeth Schantz and her daughter Story. Sarah's partner and Story's father, Fish, passed away suddenly this week. Fish was a kind, magnetic, and loved member of our community. He is a gem and a sparkling soul who will be missed profoundly by many across time and space.

As her community and chosen family, we are raising funds to cover costs associated with this unexpected and tragic death. These funds will cover cremation costs as well as other costs to support our dear sister through this challenging time.

Sarah is a teacher, healer, author, artist, giver, and activist. She was a backstage goddess and writer for our radical activist theater troupe, Vox Feminista, for many years. Her strength, care, and creativity nourished the Vox family on and off stage. Her family is our family. She and Fish raised two beautiful daughters, Kaya and Story. Their deep and unbound love journey is full of moments of joy and grief, including the death of their daughter, Kaya, in 2018. Now Sarah needs some support walking this part of the journey.
