I am making this go fund me for my sister Sarah and my nephew Mateo, she’s a single mom and her and his entire life just burnt down in a storage unit fire in Richmond, California.

She has been in between apartments living with our auntie and uncle for a couple months so she had all her and Mateos earthly belongings in the storage unit. Unfortunately the entire structure burnt down on Christmas Eve and everything is a total loss. They lost everything her and Mateo owned and have accumulated over the last 7 years. Obviously you can’t put a price on all the sentimental items which was the majority of everything in there (baby books and Mateos things, pictures and important documents, stuff from our grandma that passed away years ago etc..) but there was everything she needed in there (furniture and housing wise) to move into her new apartment very soon which now she has nothing at all. My sister has been and is doing the best that she can, this was just a huge blow to her mentally and financially. Anything that anyone could do would be so amazing!! We hate asking for help but honestly I’m not sure what else to do at this point. This was just a huge shock right at Christmas time that was like WTF?? Why???? All funds will be used to help with housing and furniture and clothes for my nephew. Thank you so much!
