Meet Sapphire!! A girl who knows no stranger. Friends, family, and neighbors can attest to the love, energy, and goofiness that Sapphire brings to the world.
Sapphire spent her first two years of life on the street before being taken into the Humane Society. Shortly after, she was adopted during a very challenging period in life. Many would describe her companionship as life-saving, and now we must return the favor.
After several ER visits, doctors discovered a foreign object stuck in the passage between her small and large intestine. Emergency surgery is required and options for treatment are limited, leaving us (her parents) with a very hard decision: have the surgery or take her home and put her life at risk.
We have already paid over a thousand dollars for exams, lab work, X-rays, and an ultrasound. However, she will need to be admitted and undergo surgery which has been estimated to cost an additional $10,000.
While we completely understand that everyone is experiencing hardships, we ask that if you have spare kindness, please consider contributing any amount to her treatment.
ALL proceeds will go towards paying for Sapphire’s surgery and recovery. Any amount, big or small, is greatly appreciated.
