Help me fund for an Outdoor Library at James Madison Primary School!

Hi, my name is Sanjana Panjiyar, and, for my Eagle Scout Project, I am building an Outdoor Library at James Madison Primary School. This project will create a peaceful and engaging space for reading, reflection, and play for the students and the entire Edison community.

What's our Project?

The centerpiece of the library will be a "Little Library Box," filled with over 200 children's books collected through local book drives. The space will also feature three benches, colorful decorations, and flowering plants, all set within a mulched area.

Why is this project so important?

Currently, students at James Madison Primary and the nearby John Adams Middle School have limited direct access to physical books, especially when school is not in session. Experiencing this problem first hand, I had contributed in helping build a temporary library at the middle school.

Due to ongoing construction at the Edison Public Library, for the next 3 years. this problem has become even more significant, making it a critical need to address for our community!.

Our Impact

We expect this library to benefit over 2,200 children from James Madison Primary, James Madison Intermediate, FDR Preschool, John Adams Middle School, and JP Stevens High School—all of whom are within walking distance and will have a new, easy way to access books.
