Hello everyone, my name is Sanjana, and I am currently working toward earning my Eagle Scout rank—the highest rank in Scouting. I am part of Troop 2998G in Pleasanton, and for my Eagle project, I will be building two portable benches and installing doors for existing storage shelves at Sunflower Hill Garden. My project focuses on creating easily accessible, portable benches to support volunteers working at the garden, as well as constructing protective doors for storage shelves.

Sunflower Hill’s mission is to create inclusive spaces for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), and I am honored to contribute to such a meaningful cause. Many volunteers, including seniors from nearby communities, regularly help with organic gardening at the site. The benches will provide a comfortable and safe place to rest and work, especially under the sun, improving both accessibility and efficiency. The shelf doors will protect tools and materials from weather damage while also giving volunteers a secure and organized place to store their belongings.

Through this project, I hope to enhance both the functionality of the garden and the experience of the volunteers who generously dedicate their time. Any donation—big or small—will go directly toward making this project possible. Thank you so much for your support. I truly appreciate it!
