Hello everyone! My name is Nikki and I’m Sandy’s daughter.

Wednesday night, my mom suffered a stroke. Thursday morning, she woke up and her symptoms worsened. She is currently still in the hospital trying to regain normalcy. If you know her, you know she never stops or slows down. These next couple of months will be a learning curve for her as she figures out how to properly walk again, among some other deficits. Unfortunately, due to her deficits, she won’t be able to work. Sandy is a busy ER nurse. Nursing is her passion; helping people is something she finds pure joy in. She’s asking for prayers and positive thoughts through her journey.

The team at Mercy Gilbert have taken great care of her this far. She’s a strong woman and I know she will work hard to get back to normal.
