Our family is heartbroken after the recent loss of our beloved mom, Sandra Elizabeth Medina. Sandra was the light in every room—genuine, understanding, and always ready to lift others up, even when she faced her own struggles. Her laughter, strength, and unwavering support made her the backbone of our family. She was a fighter, always smiling and making those around her feel loved and seen.

Now, my siblings and I are facing the difficult task of honoring her memory and caring for our youngest sister, Katerina. We need to travel to Maine, where Sandra lived, to arrange her memorial, gather her belongings, and bring Katerina home. The expenses are overwhelming: travel and transportation, memorial costs, living expenses, and legal fees for an attorney to help with her will and Katerina’s adoption. My siblings and I are committed to providing Katerina with a loving home and keeping our family together.
