More than ever, community support is needed as this administration along with the feds are using lies and weaponizing our court systems. They are trying to make an example out of innocent protestors and activists fighting to keep their communities safe from I C E activity in Los Angeles. My daughter's name is Sandra Carmona she works and is a college student who has always selflessly stood up for others. We need help with funds for her legal aid to fight the false charges that have been placed on her and immigration fees. The administration in office is trying to intimidate people from protesting and from standing up, using this case to set an example to others. "This is what will happen if you stand up against us". We do not get intimidated easily, especially when we know we stand on the side of justice and the side of truth. Protectors across the USA, are targeted & directly facing the consequences of ongoing violations of freedom of speech, and it's crucial that we stand up to protect this constitutional right. Recent incidents have highlighted a disturbing trend where individuals from Los Angeles and across USA have been targeted just for voicing their concerns for the vulnerable are met with excessive brutal force and wrongful charges by authorities. This not only infringes on our personal freedoms but also instills fear among others who want to express their views and advocate for change. Imagine being passionate about advocating for migrant rights or speaking out against racial injustices, only to find yourself in handcuffs, facing false accusations. It's a reality that shouldn't exist in Los Angeles, or anywhere in America. It's vital that we eliminate the obstacles for brave people who are trying to make their voices heard.
