Happy New Year 2026!

In support of a local boxing gym located in the heart of San Bernardino, California, I will be running the Surf City Marathon in Huntington Beach on February 1, 2026.

The gym is located at the Ruben Campos Community Center and operates via Project Fighting Chance, which serves the community by teaching the local youth the art of self-defense as well as providing education and food to all children in its community, free of charge.

The Inland Empire gym is also home to fast-rising local talent Terry “Terrible” Washington.

Washington, (6-0, 5 KO) won the US WBC flyweight championship on November 29, 2025, on the inaugural fight card of Hall of Fame inductee Manny Pacquiao’s promotional company, Manny Pacquiao Promotions.
