Heya! My name is Sammy, a 27 year old Trans Woman fundraising for gender affirming care. I'm a Video Editor currently living in Hertfordshire.

I've been Transitioning since Feburary 2021, have been on HRT for 3 years and on the NHS waitlist for 4 years, and as we all know that's not even half of the expect time to be on it for.

Fundraising has always been an incredibly daunting prospect for me, yet I feel like I've exhausted every option before coming here, and believe me this is my last option. Learning to love myself & my body has been a long and tiresome journey. I've been so lucky that my friends & family have been incredibly supportive throughout my transition and have offered more than just a shoulder to cry on over the years, however I'm losing a hard battle with dysphoria and feeling like I've got nowhere to go, everyday has become a struggle to stay sane & not focus on all my insecurities. So here I am! I understand that gender affirming care is not the answer to all my problems however It's a MASSIVE step in finally living in the body I have always dreamt of.

I have yet to confirm exact prices from some clinics, however this fundraiser will go specifically to supporting my Facial Feminisation fund. I'll lay out all my surgery options for everything I'm planning below as additional fundraising will go towards other gender affirming care options:

Alongside this GoFundMe, I'll be raising money elsewhere through various events (Club nights, Football tournaments, Merch sales, etc). Any part time editing or consulting work will also be put into the surgery pot.
